The Absecon Cultural Arts Alliance (ACAA) has continued to grow and connect with residents throughout all of southern New Jersey.  It is the mission of the ACAA to promote an appreciation of the arts through education and exposure to a wide range of art-related experiences.

 

As we are getting ready for our 2026 season of creativity, we are reaching out to businesses and friends of ACAA to partner with us.  As a self-funded 501(c)(3) organization, your tax-deductible sponsorship donation would allow us to heighten those relationships with more residents. We have monthly events planned for 2026 on an ever-evolving calendar.  However, we wanted to highlight our three largest annual events for your consideration.

 

The Best Flower Pot in Town Contest will be in its 11th year, bringing artists and hundreds of guests to the historic Dr. Jonathan Pitney House. This unique event draws folks from Atlantic, Cape May, Gloucester, Ocean and Camden Counties.  The pots have sold for hundreds of dollars and have been shipped as far as Santa Barbara, CA and the Florida Keys.  ACAA also partners with other local nonprofits, this year the Absecon Community Center for Seniors will be participating in the flower pot contest as we spotlight the good work they are doing to support seniors in Atlantic County.

 

Art in The Park is on May 2nd this year! Bringing together 30 plus vendors from all over the state to the beautiful Heritage Park along with food trucks and music. The fair-like atmosphere is friendly and interactive with kids’ activities and contests.

 

We are proud to announce our 2nd annual Plein Air Invitational in partnership with the Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University will gather artists from around the region in historic Port Republic, where rivers, marshland, architecture, and quiet coastal beauty become the studio. Cash prizes and awards are given out at the reception along with music, light fare, and artful conversation.
