The Absecon Cultural Arts Alliance (ACAA) has continued to grow and connect with residents

throughout all of southern New Jersey. It is the mission of the ACAA to promote an appreciation

of the arts through education and exposure to a wide range of art-related experiences.

 

As we are getting ready for our 2024 season of creativity, we are connecting with businesses to

partner with us. As a self-funded 501 c(3) organization, your tax-deductible sponsorship

donation would allow us to heighten those relationships with more residents. We have monthly

events planned for 2024 on an ever-evolving calendar. However, we wanted to highlight our

three largest annual events for your consideration.

The Best Flower Pot in Town Contest will be in its 9th year and has been highlighted in New

Jersey LifeStyle Magazine. Bringing artists and hundreds of guests to the historic Dr. Jonathan

Pitney House, this unique event draws folks from Atlantic, Cape May, Gloucester, and Camden

Counties. The pots have sold for hundreds of dollars and have been shipped as far as Santa

Barbara, Ca. ACAA also partners with other local nonprofits to spotlight their important cause

and enhance their fundraising impact, including the Atlantic City Mud Girls in 2021 and the

Atlantic Center for Independent Living in 2022.

Art in The Park is our autumn event and we just celebrated its 10th Anniversary! Bringing

together 30-plus vendors from all over the state to the beautiful Heritage Park along with food

trucks and music. The fair-like atmosphere is friendly and interactive with kids’ activities and

contests.

Welcome to ACAA Plein Air Event offers a paint-out experience for all levels of painters to

create anywhere in Atlantic County. Cash prizes and awards are given out at the reception

along with music, light fare, and artful conversation.
