It Figures : Galloway Library Exhibit Online Registration

The ACAA is pleased to announce our next exhibit at the Galloway Library.

Artwork will be on display from April 26 - June 7, 2025* Please note that this show will be an abbreviated exhibit and pick up will be on June 7 due to the library being closed for renovations and construction for an undeisclosed period of time this summer.

We invite artists to submit work for It Figures, an upcoming exhibition exploring the human form. This show will feature 2D artwork that highlights the figure—whether through portraiture, full-body studies, or expressive interpretations of the human presence. All mediums are welcome, including painting, drawing, printmaking, and photography.

Submit your work and be part of this compelling showcase that celebrates the beauty, complexity, and emotion of the human figure.

Submissions are open to all artists, with a focus on originality and interpretation of the theme. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your vision in this unique exploration of color and creativity!

Drop off for the show will be held at the Galloway Library from 10:00am - 12:00pm on April 26 and is open to all 2-dimensional works.

All work MUST be PROPERLY wired, framed, and ready to hang. We use a cleat system so require all works to be hung properly with at least 6" of wire in order to display. Entry fees are $10 per piece with a limit of 3 pieces per person. Space is limited so we ask that artists keep the size and weight of their works reasonable. Oversized works may be turned away at check in at committee discretion due to amount of entrants and available space. We do our best to hang all works on main gallery wall of the library but any overflow will be hung in the meeting room immediately to the left of the entrance across from the restrooms.

Pick up of works must be on June 7, 2025 in order to retrieve your works prior to the library's temporary closure. Online registration is available here at abseconarts.com.

Work will be judged by an independent judge and announced on social media. Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall winners, with monetary prizes structured dependent on participation.
