2019 Absecon

Plein Air paintout

Saturday, September 21, 2019*

Join us on Saturday September 21, 2019 as we celebrate the beauty of Absecon 

and open our city and the surrounding area to local and regional artists.

 

With our beautiful views of the salt marshes, the idyllic town center and the pristine parks, there is plenty to paint in our hometown of Absecon. Bring your paints, pastels, canvas and paper and join us for this one day paint out event!

 

Pre-register for discounted entry fee of $20 Day Of Entry fee is $25

 

The event is a one-day paint out, with an exhibit at the Garden State Beer Company and reception of works and presentation of awards on October 12th at Art in the Park.

 

Paintings will be on display September 22 - October 11 at the Garden State Beer Company

 

There will be Artist Awards Awards granted by an independent panel of judges. Awards will given to the best; waterscape, landscape, streetscape and best in show.

 

Event Calendar:

Artists check in 8 - 9am. Welcome table at Heritage Park where canvas or paper will be stamped. Only paintings or drawings will be judged. Photography will not be judged, but please feel free to take all the photos that you want! Our town is beautiful!

 

Paint out around town 8am-4pm

 

Drop off framed painting at Zona Real Estate* by 4pm.

 

All paintings MUST be framed and wired for hanging.

Paintings will be displayed from September 22 - October 11 at Garden State Beer Company (247 E. White Horse Pike, Galloway, NJ.)

 

Reception October 12 from 1-4 at Art in the Park (500 Mill Rd, Heritage Park, Absecon, NJ)

Artwork may be picked up at the end of the event or at Zona Real Estate Office* during business hours after October 12
